Lets go back about a month from now when I so idiotically wrecked my old glasses by launching them off of my own face in a fit of stupidity and supposed drunkenness.
I think we probably all know by now that not only am I incredibly cheap but I am also a notorious procrastinator. So naturally, I put off getting replacement glasses until about four days ago when I was using StumbleUpon and stumbled upon Warby Parker which is a company based out of the United States that prides itself on giving the public eyewear at a drastically lowered price - which on its own completely sold me on this company - but it continues to be even more of a heaven-send by its policy claiming that for every pair sold, a pair is donated to somebody in need. This company is not only helping the optically challenged and budgeted like myself, but it also cares enough to help even worse off individuals.
As if I couldn’t love this company any more, my experience ordering my new Tenley frames could not have been better. I accidentally placed an order for two pairs and frantically emailed the company to change my order (even though the price for the two pairs still would have been cheaper than purchasing a less attractive pair from Hakim Optical where the saleswoman nearly shanked me with her eyes as soon as I walked in the door). I received an email almost instantaneously from an actual person (shockingly not an automated system) telling me that everything had been changed and making a witty eyewear remark and telling me they will be received within the next 10 days. Two days later they were shipped. The next day they were at my door. In a matter of four days this company managed to steal my heart. If you are cursed with fuzzy eyesight like myself, please consider this company for your next eyewear purchase. I really don’t know why anyone would consider anything else anyways.
